Optical Character Recognition (OCR) on behalf of other applications. It provides the possibility to capture text from printed books and newspapers by pointing the rear camera of your device.
Note : please download this plugin only if you have an application that needs it.
The OCR plugin requires a
back camera with autofocus to perform proper OCR functionality. Note that Google Play services are required on your device. This plugin recognizes only
Latin Alphabet .
The following applications support OCR plugin to capture text via camera:
- Online, Offlline Dictionaries and Online Thesaurus by Livio, version 3.5 or later
⚠ In case text recognition does not work, please update Google Play Services to latest version and/or clear data of Google Play Services.
